Located on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, amidst the devastation and debris, was a place of peace, hope, caring, love and comfort. This place, once called God's Katrina Kitchen, was the result of God calling people from all over the world to serve.
Our motto, "Many Churches, One God", was true here. Many churches and denominations worked together, not under any specific organization, but under The One True God. Good food and Good News...given in Jesus' name.
Since we began, we have served over 1,000,000 hot meals; worked on several hundred properties; distributed food, clothing and household goods to thousands of families; and seen hundreds of Salvations and thousands of lives changed.
God's Kitchen, Inc. Formation
God's Kitchen, Inc. is a non-profit, 501c3 faith-based first response disaster relief organization, born from the Katrina disaster. We operate solely on food donations, monetary contributions, volunteer groups, and a long-term volunteer staff.
We are preparing to respond to future disasters, as needs arise. Our goal is to be ready to provide first response disaster relief that is ready to roll at the onset of disasters, and provide the much needed services that are essential for survivers and volunteer workers who respond.

We are looking for people with a servants heart and talents. God's Kitchen, Inc. is a newly organized First Response Disaster Relief Organization. Our mission is to provide first response disaster relief to communities hit by hurricanes, floods, tornados, fires, as well as other disasters. At this time, we are actively setting up a headquarters for GKI, as well as seeking funding.
